Since 2005, Earth Resources has focused on supporting our clients with complex natural resource challenges. Based in Tampa, Florida, our firm specializes in Wetland Assessment Procedures (WAP), long-term wetland health studies, ecological and hydrological monitoring, environmental permit compliance, protected species surveys and permitting, habitat assessment and restoration, and state and federal environmental permitting.

We have experience successfully delivering all types of transportation development including toll facilities, greenfield projects, trails, interchanges, intersection improvements, RRR and capacity projects.

Ecosystem Management including habitat restoration design, hydrologic restoration, and preparation of habitat management plans.

GIS Mapping

Our team of GIS experts are well versed in state-of-the-art GIS analysis techniques such as raster map algebra, spatial interpolation, spatial statistics, and 3-D topographic mapping and use these techniques to perform sophisticated analyses, wetland condition mapping, habitat classification, hot spot identification, spatial autocorrelation studies, and floodplain mapping.

State and Federal Environmental Permitting

Environmental Resource Permitting, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 and Section 10, Water Use Permitting, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Section 7 and Section 10, National Marine Fisheries, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission preparation of Biological Assessments and Species Conservation Plans in support of obtaining Biological Opinions.

Wetland Mitigation Design

Design, permitting and implementation wetland mitigation including wetland creation, restoration and enhancement plans, land management plans and wetland monitoring in accordance with regulatory agency requirements.

Wetland Delineations

Experts in both the State of Florida Wetland Delineation Methodology (62,340, F.A.C) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 1987 Wetland Delineation Manual.

Planning and NEPA Studies

ACE/Feasibility Studies, SEIR’s, Type II CE’s, EA’s, EIS’s, Section 7 Consultation, Section 4(f) Analysis.

Protected Species Surveys and Wildlife Studies

Protected Species Surveys and Wildlife Studies including caracara, Florida bonneted bat acoustic and roosting survey, Florida black rail, Southeastern American kestrel, gopher tortoise, burrowing owl scrub jay, red cockaded woodpecker, sand skink. Staff certification include Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agents, qualified caracara observers.
