As demonstrated by our project references listed below, the Earth Resources Team has decades of project experience providing ecological, hydrological, hydrogeological, biostatistical, remote sensing, and GIS services.
Key project responsibilities include conducting and managing protected species surveys for a range of state- and federally listed species, including the Florida scrub-jay, Audubon’s crested caracara, southeastern American kestrel, tricolored bat (acoustic surveys), gopher tortoise, and burrowing owl.
Earth Resources prepares detailed technical memoranda documenting survey methodologies, results, and effect determinations, and leads informal consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as coordination with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The team also manages gopher tortoise permitting and relocation in accordance with state guidelines, including navigating logistical constraints and construction sequencing.
