
Michelle Rutishauser
Chief Scientist
Michelle Rutishauser is a program and project manager and chief scientist with over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, based in Tampa Florida. Michelle has spent over half her career managing multi-year continuing service contracts and working on complex projects implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) including Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, Type 2 Categorical Exclusions as well as state-funded PD&Es.
Ms. Rutishauser’s valuable expertise includes re-evaluations for FDOT for state and federal projects, state and federal regulatory permitting, threatened and endangered species surveys, Section 7 consultation, Section 4(f) coordination/consultation, and wetland mitigation design and monitoring. She has also served as the lead scientist for complex design and design-build projects for private sector, public sector and non-profit clients.
Michelle stays up to date on local, state, and federal policies and regulations to continue serving clients.
